This is a retreat free of drugs and alcohol. We have ensured volunteer venue control around the campsite throughout the duration of The Wknd. Although phones will be kept with leaders until Saturday night to give students a distraction-free experience, parents will be given a contact number to use in case of emergencies.
If your child is found to have broken one of the rules outlined at the commencement of The Wknd, our Youth team may require you to pick up your teenager from the retreat. All of our Youth leaders are required to have a background check, in addition to an interview before being a part of our camps.
+ What if my student has dietary needs? This should be included within your registration under the ‘medical conditions’ field.
+ What if my student needs financial assistance to attend? We don’t want anything to hold your student back from The Wknd. Please complete the contact form below. Someone from our team will reach out to you once this is completed.
+ What if my student doesn’t know anyone? We want your student to feel comfortable and connected. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will introduce your child to students and leaders they will be with during The Wknd.
+ Can my student room with their friends? Cabins are broken up by gender and grade. Students will be sharing a room with the peers in their grade.
+ What do I do with my child’s medication? We will have a nurse that stays at the camp all weekend. Students will check in medicine at drop off and will take all daily doses from the nurse’s station.
+ Are reimbursements available? All deposits and punch cards are non-reimbursable. If your student is unable to attend, please email email@example.com to discuss what reimbursement options are available.
+ What if my child can’t attend the entirety of The Wknd? If your child is going to be dropped off late, our logistical coordinator will check in your child and show them to their cabin. If your child has to leave early, a ride must be provided and our logistical coordinator will wait with the child until they are picked up. Time away will be available; students must have a ride from and back to camp.
