Safety & Security Policy

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment is a priority to us: 

• All of our adult staff and volunteers undergo a thorough background check 

• We ask that all students enter through and exit from the front doors of the Worship Center when on campus 

• All students and volunteers are required to register upon arrival and wear a name tag 

• Students must not leave the property unless attended by a parent, guardian, or assigned adult; Students may not leave the prescribed boundaries of the Youth event, even if they remain on the Church property 

• Parents are welcome, but must be always accompanied by an approved staff or volunteer member

I, via electronic acknowledgement, hereby grant permission to Real Life Church and its representatives, including but not limited to its employees, volunteers, and affiliated organizations, to communicate with my child/children via email and text message. This consent covers the following types of communication: 

1. Email: Sending emails regarding RLY activities, events, updates, and important information. 

2. Text Messages: Sending text messages for reminders, event notifications, and other relevant communications. 

I acknowledge and agree to the following: 

1. Purpose of Communication: The email and text message communications will be used for the purpose of providing information about RLY activities, events, and updates relevant to my child/children's participation in RLY. 

2. Frequency: I understand that communications may be sent as needed and will be relevant to the activities and needs of RLY. 

3. No Compensation: I understand that no compensation or payment will be provided for these communications. 

4. Revocation: I understand that I may withdraw my consent at any time by providing written notice to the RLY Leader. However, I acknowledge that such withdrawal will not affect any communications that have already been sent or planned prior to the withdrawal of consent. 

5. Privacy: I understand that Real Life Church will take reasonable steps to protect the privacy of my child/children's contact information and will only use it for the purposes stated above. 

6. Release of Claims: I release and hold harmless Real Life Church, its representatives, and affiliated organizations from any claims, demands, or liabilities that may arise from the sending or receiving of these electronic communications.

Due to the group setting of our RLY events, images of your child may be captured during the normal recording of events as outlined below.

I, via electronic acknowledgement, hereby grant permission to Real Life Church and its representatives, including but not limited to its employees, volunteers, and affiliated organizations, to take photographs and/or video recordings of my child/children listed above. I understand that these images may be used for the following purposes: 

1. Social Media: Posting on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) managed by Real Life Church or its affiliated organizations, for the purpose of promoting youth group activities and engaging with the community. 

2. Promotional Materials: Including but not limited to flyers, brochures, posters, and other printed materials. 

3. Digital Media: On Real Life Church's website and in email newsletters or other electronic communications. 

4. Additional Uses: Any other promotional or informational materials related to RLY activities. I acknowledge and agree to the following: 

   1. Usage: The photographs and/or video recordings may be used and published in various forms of media, including but not limited to print and digital formats, for the purposes stated above. 

   2. Social Media Posting: I specifically authorize Real Life Church to post images of my child/children on social media platforms as described above. I understand that these posts may be viewable by the general public. 

   3. No Compensation: I understand that no compensation or payment will be provided to me or my child/children for the use of these images. 

   4. Release of Claims: I release and hold harmless Real Life Church, its representatives, and affiliated organizations from any claims, demands, or liabilities that may arise from the use of these photographs and/or video recordings, including their use on social media platforms. 

   5. Revocation: I understand that I may withdraw my consent at any time by providing written notice to the RLY Leader. However, I acknowledge that such withdrawal will not affect any materials already in use or previously distributed. 

   6. Duration: This consent is granted for an indefinite period unless otherwise revoked as specified above.
